Pramata Shares Its Top 3 Legal Predictions with the ABA Journal

Today’s contract AI solutions will enable modern-day legal teams to focus on big picture strategies and leverage contract data as the business-critical asset it is.

Today’s contract AI solutions will enable modern-day legal teams to focus on big picture strategies and leverage contract data as the business-critical asset it is.

The ABA Journal recently gave our Chief Revenue Officer Justin Schweisberger the opportunity to write up his top three predictions for the legal industry. According to Justin, if 2024 was the year of generative AI solutions exploding onto the legal scene, 2025 will be the year legal leaders capitalize on this emerging technology and focus their efforts on revenue-driving tactics that move the business forward.

“As we near 2025, three emerging trends point to a future where legal teams will have the insights they need to play an integral role in their organization’s revenue goals,” according to Justin. “These shifts will transform legal work, freeing legal leaders from redundant, time-consuming tasks to focus on big picture strategies.”

Justin’s predictions are centered on the idea that enterprise contract AI will enable legal teams to be more agile so that they can move at the new speed of business. He believes innovative, AI-powered contract management solutions will enable legal leaders to truly maximize the value of their contract data—giving them the insights they need to reveal cost-saving opportunities and untapped revenue sources.

“With full visibility into their contracts—along with tools that can automate complex data analysis—forward-thinking legal teams will be able to realize the organization’s contracts as the business-critical asset they are,” writes Justin.

But before legal departments can extract powerful insights from their contract data, they must have access to AI-powered contract management solutions that avoid the garbage-in, garbage-out challenges often associated with generative AI tools.

In his byline, Justin emphasizes just how crucial effective contract AI platforms are to the entire organization: “The introduction of enterprise-grade contract AI technology makes it possible to extend the value of contract data well beyond the legal department. With the right platforms in place, sales, procurement and finance teams will gain access to previously unavailable contract insights that get them closer to their most important goals.”
